So I’m laying here with the love of my life and I move to kiss him and in his sleep he makes a face and turns his head away. I smile cause he’s cute when he sleeps. A second later, still in his sleep, he taps his stomach, looking, asking for my hand. He squeezes. Sweet Mila, probably the cutest, silliest dog I’ve ever known tries to inch closer to me, choosing for some reason to spend the night in our bed and not her mom’s.
I’ve waited so long for this.
Yet im more scared than I ever have been. Scared I’ll have to be without him in the future, in anyway it might end. Because of my past. Our past. But here I am, typing with one hand so I can hold his in his sleep.
